Accelium is a leading, AI-based methodology regarding game-based learning, which focuses on enhancing important and practical skills for the rapidly changing world of the 21st century.

Accelium’s activities and learning paths are for everyone that wants to improve themselves while having fun. It can be used for personal growth purposes as well as for hiring processes or team building within a company.

The Accelium platform is extremely easy to use, you only need a stable internet connection to be able to use it.

2. Drops of the Mind: Why choose game-based learning?

Our second episode focused on the idea of game-based learning and testing and discovered its benefits compared to the regular learning platforms.

What does game-based learning mean?

3. Drops of the Mind: Game-based testing

In the third episode of Drops for the Mind, we talked about one of the outstanding services of Accelium Hungary, the game-based assessment.

What does game-based assessment mean and how does it work?

Accelium’s game-based test includes various logical and strategic games, and through playing these games, it assesses the participants’ skills and traits. The test takes approximately 50 minutes and examines skills such as analytical ability, the ability to draw correct conclusions, planning skills, execution ability, strategic thinking, and flexible thinking.

How can one purchase this test?

Companies as well as individuals can purchase the test through Accelium Hungary or Cooltix.

Who do you recommend this to and how can it be useful?

Anyone who wants to understand their abilities and skills better, people who feel like they might not be in the right environment, or individuals struggling to choose a career path, or someone who is on the brink of change should definitely consider taking this test. We also specifically recommend it to companies who want to identify their employees’ strengths and weaknesses and assign tasks that allow them to excel, leading to a positive attitude and increasing motivation.

Is there anything else to do or any other opportunities after the test?

After taking the test, the participant receives a detailed analysis of the test results. 4. Drops of the Mind: Game-based learning and skill development

The fourth episode of our video series focuses on the Accelium Journey, a game-based skill development program.

What is Accelium Journey and how can it be used?

Accelium Journey is a skill development program that enhances various skills through online games. The entire program is customizable, different types of games can be chosen depending on the specific skill(s) the individual wants to improve.

What games does it include and what skills does it target?

The program includes logical and strategic games (the type and quantity of the games and their sequence can vary based on personal preferences), each focusing on different skills such as flexible or strategic thinking, analytical abilities, or creativity. In the video, Szilvia demonstrates several games, highlighting the skills that can be developed through them.

How long does the program take to complete? Is it conducted online?

The duration of the program and the number of games also depend on personal preference. Ideally, approximately two weeks should pass between completing two different games and the corresponding workshops, allowing time for practice. Upon purchasing the Accelium Journey program, individuals are granted access for 6 or 12 months. During this period, they can practice the games as much as they want to. The program can be completed at one’s own pace and online as well, but it’s advisable to schedule at least 1-2 consultations with an Accelium expert during the process.

Where can this program be purchased?

Accelium Journey is available for individuals, companies or teams and can be purchased from the accelium.hu website or from certified Accelium specialists.

5. Drops of the Mind: Accelium Plus platform

The next episode of our series focused on the Accelium Plus platform, placing special emphasis on HR managers and how this new technology can be beneficial for them.

What is this platform, and what can it be used for?

With the help of the Accelium games and development materials, a personalized skill development plan can be assembled for individuals and companies using the Accelium Plus platform. The platform simplifies the lives of HR professionals as it is extremely easy to use while providing an innovative, experiential, 21st-century development program for employees and leaders. Additionally, company materials can be integrated into the platform, making it an excellent opportunity for onboarding processes, talent programs, and leadership development.

Can professionals create different learning paths for individuals or teams?

Both are possible, but it’s advisable to create journeys for teams, specifically for groups that require the development of the same skills (a division, for example, a marketing team). This means that everyone in the team will work with the same games, but the HR manager will be able to see the results and progress of each individual separately as well.

Is the participation of an Accelium trainer necessary for such a program, or is it sufficient for the company’s HR manager to coordinate the process?

In addition to acquiring the platform, it’s recommended to hold workshops approximately every two weeks with a trained Accelium trainer. However, there is also the option for the HR manager to get trained as an Accelium trainer, allowing the system to operate within the company without external assistance.

What are the advantages of the platform compared to traditional training?

The platform and programs are fully customizable for individuals and companies. Moreover, everything is in one place – the company’s own materials can be uploaded alongside all of Accelium’s materials and integrated into the plan. 6. Drops of the Mind: Train the Trainer

In this video, we addressed coaches and trainers who want to elevate themselves and their training sessions and get trained to use the Accelium methodology.

Who can participate in such training?

The Accelium Train the Trainer program is suitable for internal trainers, coaches, team coaches, trainers, and training companies, aiming to learn the methodology in a highly flexible system.

Why can this be beneficial for professionals?

Accelium provides an innovative platform for self-awareness for both professionals and their clients. Rather than a rigid system, the training showcases ideas and opportunities but also leaves some space for professionals to incorporate their own personalities and styles.

Is prior qualification necessary to participate in this training?

This training provides a tool, not a profession, making it interesting only for trainers, facilitators, or coaches.

How does the training work?

The training can be organized online or in-person, and in urgent cases, it can even be individualized. Depending on the number of participants, the training generally takes approximately 6 sessions of 4 hours each, occurring bi-weekly. 7. Drops of the mind: Accelium coaching

This time, we discussed how a game-based tool fits into the coaching process and what possibilities can it offer.

How can games be integrated into coaching, and why can it be beneficial?

In the game, we regress to a state of free childhood, where we are creative and play uninhibitedly because at such times, we are most receptive to novelty and learning. A lot can be revealed about an individual from playing a game and their attitude towards it, providing comprehensive self-awareness.

Unfortunately, people are often not aware of their strengths and weaknesses, leading them to make decisions, especially regarding their careers, that they regret later on. Therefore, Accelium and coaching with it, can be a great help for first-time career planning and selection. It is also beneficial for individuals who feel unfulfilled in their current positions and are contemplating a change in their job roles or workplaces.

How does coaching work with Accelium?

The journey begins with completing the test, which we have already discussed in a previous video. Afterwards, the coach and the client can discuss the results together and talk about which skills they would like to focus on. According to this, the coach can create a completely personalized “journey” with customized games.

8. Drops of the Mind: AI or  HI?

In the new episode of our video series, we addressed why it is important to continue developing ourselves and our skills alongside the rapid advancement of technology.

How does the development of oneself connect to the progress of modern technology today?

In today’s fast-paced technological development, self-improvement tends to take a back seat. Current training programs provide useful information, but they do not truly enhance our cognitive abilities. It is a proven fact that, with the rapid evolution of the internet and technology, our concentration is decreasing. Our inability to focus leads to a lack of deep engagement with topics, resulting in a decline in decision-making and problem-solving skills.

How does all of this relate to gaming?

In games, various skills, such as concentration and decision-making can be practiced risk-free. Additionally, games teach awareness so that when we encounter similar situations in real life, we can apply the learned or practiced skills, thereby developing ourselves in our everyday lives.

Plans for the upcoming year

Starting next year, we will launch an integrated leadership training program, inviting leaders and HR managers and we will provide even more information on the topics of self-development and self-reflection in this program.

9. Drops for the Mind: Integral Leadership Development

In the latest video, we explored a slightly different topic and discussed the idea of our integral leadership development course, starting in the next year.

The training will be especially beneficial for those who have a significant influence on how a company operates, making it particularly important for directors, executives and HR professionals.

Who invented this theory, and what do we know about him?

This approach is attributed to Ken Wilber, an American thinker, who discovered that there are subsystems and partial truths. With the abundance of information at his disposal, he began to organize it systematically as well. He created a comprehensive map that unified human functioning, worldview, combining Eastern wisdom and Western science.

What does the integral perspective entail?

The essence of this vision is to merge subsystems. It focuses on collaboration, shifting the focus from ‘I’ to the larger whole. Therefore, instead of thinking in terms of ‘or,’ we should think in terms of ‘and,’ in cooperation. In the integral perspective, we also talk about different levels of consciousness development, which can be observed in every situation, whether in individuals, companies, or even nations.

How can one envision this training?

Certainly, theoretical knowledge is important for understanding, but it will be combined with self-awareness so that participants can reach not only the level of understanding but also the level of application through the training.
